Dr. Tim Stevens

Dr. Tim W. Stevens (Doc) was born and raised in the sunny state of California. He attended college in California and went to Loma Linda University Dental School for his dental training. A firm believer in serving his country, Doc joined the United States Navy and served as a dentist to the world's finest Marine Corp. His first year in he went through a general practice residency at the Naval hospital of Camp Pendleton. It was there he fell in love with oral surgery while working on the marines and sailors, some of them injured from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was transferred to Yuma Marine Corps Air Station for the remainder of his commission. He served in Iraq in 2006.

As luck would have it, Doc entered his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Loma Linda studying under some of the most influential surgeons in his field. During his training, he performed numerous surgeries—most of which were trauma-related and corrective jaw surgery. He was educated in to perform complex implant procedures as well as having advanced training in head and neck cancer. He received advanced training in general anesthesia while in residency.

I sort of fell into surgery residency. I was teaching at the time at the dental school where my wife was doing her pediatric dentistry and the surgical department had an unfilled position. I was given the opportunity of a lifetime and ran with it. I trained under the tutelage of some of the finest surgeons in our field today and met some amazing people in the process. It was easily one of the best things that happened to me and I am grateful for it.

I feel like I have the best job in the world. I get to work with my hands and be of service to people. It's taken me a while to find my niche but I am truly blessed to be working in Menasha Wisconsin. I have the best staff and I love the patient base. I am still adjusting to the weather but it looks like I am here to stay.

When he's not enjoying work, you can find Doc exploring Wisconsin with his family. During his childhood, his family would drive cross-country in a VW bus and camp along the way to his grandparent's farm in Chetek, WI. He fell in love with the wide-open spaces and wildlife, something he didn't get to experience a lot in southern California. If he's not exploring wildlife in Wisconsin, you might find him working on cars while enjoying Johnny Cash and Social Distortion and watching his two daughters play in the fields as he did as a kid. Along with some friends, Doc tries to improve the community in Green Bay, WI, and he enjoys hanging out with friends at Gateway Bronco.

Doc lives with his wife Jennifer, who is a pediatric dentist at First Impressions, and they have two wonderful girls. "I get to wake up to three beautiful redheads every morning," he likes to say.

Kelly Schilling

Office Manager

Kelly has worked with Dr. Stevens and his dental practice for three wonderful years. Her favorite part about her job is providing exceptional care to patients in a relaxed and fun environment. The dental staff at Oral and Facial Surgery of Wisconsin is dedicated and hardworking, and they treat patients like family. She understands that an oral surgery office may not be a place that people are excited to visit, but what makes the dental staff special is how they create a space where patients feel safe and know they are in good hands with Dr. Tim Stevens.

When she's not at the dental office, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, along with being an avid exerciser.
